Given the fact that Terminal 1(the active passenger terminal) is the most prominent building in the Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA), it must have enough space to accommodate passengers with the best quality. Therefore, physical planning, design improvement and expansion of this terminal has to be proceeded in accordance with the international standards.
